Then, the next plateau for me comes around 8%. If I want to go lower, I have to up my cardio to 4 days per week, for 30-40 minutes per session.


Set realistic goals. Anyone who has ever set an unrealistic weight loss goal will tell you that not meeting your own expectations is the fastest way to fail at SynoGut weight loss. You should plan to lose no more than 1-2 pounds per week. In general, people who set realistic goals will exceed it during at least the first few weeks. Exceeding your weight loss goals will give you something to get excited about, and keep the weight loss process positive.


First off, fat loss and weight loss are two totally different processes. The common misconception people often make is thinking and claiming that the loss of fat and weight loss are one and the same. That could not be any more wrong. While losing weight can mean loss of fat, it does not necessarily mean that they are one and the same process of losing body mass. There are specifics ways each hold, and though they may have a few elements which are highly identical, they are separate processes overall.


It is wise to avoid having three big meals each day. You can easily take in too many calories, resulting in more difficult weight loss. Rather, try to eat several smaller meals throughout the day. Try to keep your "mini-meals" at or around 200-300 calories each.


Have one big goal and several small goals as well. It is harder and sometimes frustrating to reach one big goal. However, when you accomplish your small goals, it will make your weight loss/healthy eating plan more rewarding.
